President after U.S. President attended services at Christ’s Church in Alexandria, Virginia. Well, now the doors are locked and everyone inside is aflame (flamers?). The woman guiding (her son?) toward the door, behind Death, reminds me of my Mother, may she Rest in Peace.
In the foreground, a napping Cadmus beauty clings to boner puns, the caterpillar yet to transform, a cock resting on the CD player… Once, my conversion therapist encouraged me to trash all the things in my life that ‘made me gay.’ I threw away 3 Rufus Wainwright CDs, my CD copy of the 2001 Dreamgirls concert starring Audra McDonald, Heather Headley & Lillias White, and DVD copies of Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2.
